TYPING ON

Useful content. Clear standards.

How Typing On creates, checks and corrects practice material.

Purpose and origin

The passages and guides are prepared for Typing On with AI assistance, not scraped from another typing site. Guides are edited to explain this application’s actual controls, score rules and limitations. Worked examples use fictional records. We do not invent a human editorial team, visitor statistics, rankings, credentials or official examination requirements.

Library and current review status

The current library has 12 languages and 570 source passages: 100 each in English, Bengali and Hindi, and 30 each in 9 other languages. Chinese sources use Simplified characters. All source passages retain their editorial-draft status until a competent independent human review is recorded. Editorial improvements and automated checks do not establish native-language approval.

What is checked

Structural checks cover unique IDs and text, recognized topics and levels, script presence, links and page metadata. Browser checks exercise composition, timers, scoring, language selection and layouts. Expanded guides include practical exercises, troubleshooting and examples checked against the scoring formulas. These checks are useful but cannot independently establish grammar, naturalness or suitability in every language.

How independent review is recorded

A reviewer should check the full source for grammar, punctuation, naturalness, topic suitability, numerical examples and difficulty. A human-review label is added only after an actual review identifies the reviewer, date and scope. There is no claim that all current sources have received that approval. The developer’s review sheet lists the source IDs and pending work.

Evidence and updates

Scoring explanations refer to the implemented method, not a universal typing standard. Claims about an examination should be checked against its official notice. Reading times are estimates based on guide length. A guide’s update date changes when its content changes, rather than being refreshed just to appear new.

Report a correction

Email infotypingon@gmail.com with the page URL, selected language, a short relevant phrase or source ID, and the proposed correction. A report is a request for investigation rather than a promise of a response time. Share only the details necessary to explain the issue, and avoid private documents or complete typing histories.
