Current application behaviour
The main Typing On interface uses browser storage for selected preferences, optional summaries and the current result. Advertising is temporarily paused: Adsterra, Mondiad and advertisement-host readiness requests are not loaded. Google Analytics and remote-font services are not enabled. Hosting/CDN security checks may have separate cookies or storage under the hosting provider’s policy.
The stored keys
Keys beginning with typingon: cover theme, selected language, daily-minute goal, history preference, optional history and the current result. Saving history is off by default; when enabled, at most 200 summaries are retained. A complete custom passage is not included, but error-target graphemes can appear in saved weak-character counts. Preferences and history remain until changed, cleared or removed by the browser; tab-session results are not a long-term archive.
Your choices
The Privacy choices link in the footer controls saving future typing results and clearing saved summaries. Turning history saving off leaves existing records in place. Clearing saved results removes the current stored report but retains theme and language preferences. Downloaded files remain on your device. Use browser settings to manage or block third-party cookies. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals suppress these banners. No Accept/Reject or advertising on/off button is supplied. A still-valid refusal saved by a previous release is honored; no new consent record is written.
Automatic banner delivery
Automatic banner delivery is disabled in this release. Neither Adsterra nor Mondiad scripts, advertisement frames or provider pixels are requested by the website. No advertising consent record is created. Previously stored provider cookies are not erased automatically; you can manage them through your browser.
Mondiad storage on a separate origin
The separate Mondiad advertisement host is preserved but is not requested by this release of the main website. No readiness check or advertisement frame is loaded. Previously stored data on that origin may remain until it expires or you clear it through your browser.
Advertising cookies if the service changes
If advertising is enabled again, the privacy and cookie policies must describe the active providers and their actual data use. Google advertising and Google Analytics are not enabled now. Stored integration code does not mean a provider is currently active.
Consent before activation
Advertising is paused. Before any future activation, the provider configuration, privacy disclosures and applicable consent requirements must be reviewed. If a future Google integration requires a certified consent platform, it must be configured through the actual publisher account or another certified provider.
