Practice habits

Track typing improvement privately

A small record of comparable attempts can make improvement easier to see. You can keep that record locally without creating an account.

Choose whether to save

Enable local history from the progress section if you want completed results retained. History is off by default. The browser stores up to 200 recent results; clearing browser storage or switching devices will not transfer those records.

Compare compatible attempts

Filter history by language and compare duration and mode. Personal bests are grouped by these settings. Changes in difficulty or topic still matter, so use the recorded context before interpreting a higher score.

Read trends with care

Look at several attempts rather than one unusual result. Average accuracy and the progress chart can show a pattern, but they do not establish a guaranteed future result. Include your own notes about interruptions and input methods.

Keep control of your record

Export history as JSON for a separate copy or clear it from this browser. Custom practice passages are not included. The current result is kept only in the tab session for the results page, and no cloud backup is provided.

Test saving before relying on it

Enable Save my results locally before a short attempt. Finish it, return to Practice, and confirm that the summary appears. Closing and reopening the same browser normally retains local history, but private browsing or cleared site data can remove it. Export important records rather than relying on browser storage as your only copy.

Separate a summary from a full report

History stores compact result records, not a copy of every source or keystroke. The complete current result is held in tab-session storage and can be downloaded as a PDF. Older summary rows do not reopen a full past report. Save the PDF while the relevant result is available if you need that record.

Your next step

Choose one action from this guide for your next practice. Keep the settings comparable and review what actually changed.
